Spirit of the contract: Protecting the interests of Pixel Tutoring and its employees
The spirit of this contract, to be signed by both the proprietor of Pixel Tutoring and the client of Pixel Tutoring, is to protect the interest of both Pixel Tutoring and its employees.
- If the client is up to 15 minutes late, the tutor is able to leave at their own discretion. The tutor is able to complete the lesson but is able to leave at the pre-allotted time.
- If the client is up to 15 minutes late, the client will be charged for the full hour of the session by Pixel Tutoring.
- Client cancellations must be notified within six hours prior to the allotted time or clients may incur charges.
- If one payment is missed, Pixel Tutoring reserves the right to cancel all future bookings without notice and any material provided to students remains the property and intellectual property of Pixel Tutoring.
- The client must pay the amount provided in invoices within a day of receiving invoices.

Pixel Tutoring reserves the right to withdraw the amount owed from the client's account if Payment is overdue.
- The first month of the program will act as a trial period to ensure satisfaction with the service provided by Pixel Tutoring. Should the client express dissatisfaction with the services provided and cancel within the month, no fees will incur. Cancellation after the month will require two week notice.
- Notice of cancellation must be expressed with two weeks notice. Failure to disclose cancellation will result in payment of tuition sessions amounting to 2-weeks.
- As part of our standard, Pixel Tutoring is dedicated to achieving high standards for our clients. However, the parents/students are responsible for their active participation with the program. Parents/students must ensure that they are completing set tutoring tasks prior to sessions with the Pixel Tutor. Failure to complete set tasks on two occasions will result in cancellation of sessions.
- Though we intend to provide our clients with all our efforts and resources necessary for academic progression, we do not accept responsibility for their performance in an examination.
- Upon signing this legal document, you have understood the respective roles of Pixel Tutor and the role of your child in their academic venture.
- Upon signing this legal document, you have agreed and understood to the terms of this contract as written and explained to you.
- Upon signing this legal document, you have sought clarification on any matters that you may deem ambiguous and/or any matters that required further elaboration.
